Zachary Joseph Sedler

Zachary Joseph Sedler was born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on January 17, 1995 and went to live with God on May 30, 2014. The world lost a truly beautiful soul that day and heaven gained a mighty angel. Zac was many things...as a baseball player he was a fearless competitor that never quit. A truly gifted and accomplished centerfielder that moved with speed and grace. A loyal and trusted teammate that lead quietly. A man to build a team around. As a human being, he was passionate, talented, intelligent and funny. He cared deeply for others and touched so many with his friendship, loyalty, humor and passion of striving for excellence. He had a tremendous mind that was always thinking, always planning. A true and trusted friend! As a son and brother there was none better. The Lord has blessed me, his mother and his sister Alyssa with a gift beyond words. We are forever grateful to have loved him and to have felt his love. He loved deeply and WAS loved deeply. His life here was too short. The quality of that life lives forever in all he has touched. His life has been honored and rewarded because he now has seen and touched the face of Jesus! I am proud and humbled that God gave me the opportunity and responsibility to be his earthly Father. Zac is truly.....a GIFT!!!

Joe Sedler

Joe Sedler was born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and has been playing baseball since he was 12 years old. Multiple knee and shoulder surgeries limited his time on the field throughout high school and college. He was productive enough to earn a tryout with the Atlanta Braves in the summer of 1982. Ultimately, the history of injuries ended the dream of playing professional baseball.

Joe found tremendous success in a semi-professional league in eastern Pennsylvania. The Tri-County league was founded in 1958 and is considered one of the most skilled amateur leagues with teams consisting of college and ex-minor and major league players. Joe had a .344 lifetime batting average over 13 seasons and 1,110 at bats. He crushed 76 home runs over that span and affectionately earned the nickname "Papi Grande". Joe still plays, active in the 50 and older Lehigh Valley Men’s Senior Baseball League. Joe started a new team in 2022 the Nazareth Starz in honor of Zac. The Starz play their home games at Nazareth Borough Park in Nazareth, PA.

Joe lost his son Zachary on May 30, 2014. To honor him for a lifetime, Joe had the idea to start a company producing  the highest quality wood baseball bats.

The Z Stick label was created in October of 2014. It is Joe's dream to one day see a major league hitter with a Z Stick in his hands. Then Zac will look down from heaven with his beautiful smile and say - “Hey Dad, I made it to the big leagues!”

Z Stick baseball bats give Joe the opportunity to tell his son's story and to forever share him with the world.
